Upscale Hotel Development Planned for Odessa

Developers are set to break ground on a new upscale hotel in Odessa, marking the first phase of a larger mixed-use project at 14025 State Road 54.

The five-story, 120-key property will operate under the Cambria Hotels brand and include approximately 3,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Plans also feature an elevated amenity deck with a pool, a terrace lobby bar, and a full-service restaurant.

The hotel will occupy 2.37 acres of the 13.38-acre site, which was acquired in 2021 by Homeelite LLC and Priya Properties LLC for $4 million, according to Pasco County property records. Otero Engineering is part of the development team.

Located just north of State Road 54 and west of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition of Tampa Bay, the site is currently vacant and partially wooded.

Pasco County has seen strong development activity in recent years, fueled by its relative housing affordability and population growth compared to neighboring counties. In addition to this hotel project, the area is welcoming new retail and dining options, including Dutch Bros., Chick-fil-A, Kelly’s Roast Beef, Whataburger, and Greenlane, as well as multiple residential and multifamily developments.
